Being a GQ Insider: What This Means A Decade From Now

GQ Magazine hand selected a group of fashion-forward men and women who were confident and influential in their menswear niches. 

In 2015 I had the honor of being chosen as one of those menswear trendsetters to have a voice in the men's fashion realm and weigh in on what's next in style, tastemaking, and marketing.

In today's digital landscape, it's more important than ever to be hands-on with the creative process, especially when you can contribute to changing the status quo and shifting the narratives of the culture.

Being an Insider for a globally respected publication like GQ Magazine, to me, means having the ability to articulate what's important for the changing landscape of menswear and lifestyle.

More important than the social media following and engagement, I think the bigger picture here is looking back a decade from now and saying that I was able to create the catalyst in fashion as one of the groundbreaking creatives that helped usher in a new era of expression for a generation of craft perfecters. As we embrace the new renaissance we are living in, I am always reminding myself of the power we harness with social media and why looking your best is the greatest way to respect yourself.
