The vulcanized rubber sole sneaker "Superga" was iconic from it's birth in Italy. Today, the shoes are well-known for their versatility and easy-to-wear design. I had an opportunity to partner with Superga to tell my story of why these game-changing sneakers keep me on my toes.
Sneakers are engrained in the culture of Miami, a pair of trendy kicks is a common sight being a native of South Florida. Keeping my noble-prized kicks clean against the elements while preserving the quality of them was always a challenge. Days in Miami are usually 80-90 degrees in the morning and by the afternoon it's pouring down rain just to eventually stop with enough time to to get hot and muggy again. Needless-to-say, the unpredictable weather makes it difficult to be comfortable with your wardrobe. So what happens when you want to be casual and throw on a pair of suede loafers with those nice trousers and polo? Well I found the solution with the Superega 2750 COTU CLASSIC. What I find unique about these shoes is that they are low-maintence and are extremely comfortable; I can go from sporting a pair of joggers in them to a full-blown tailored suit and not compromise my style. Let's face it, we all need to get from point A to B, but in the 4th quarter, the Superga's will take you to point C and D.
It's a constant transition from sandy beaches to cracky pavement so I don't worry about dirt because these can be washed, dyed, customized and so many other choices to make these last even with wear-and-tear. Whether I am cycling the streets in Carol City or strolling the strip of Collins exercising my soles, The Superga 2750 COTU Classic is compatible as an all around sneaker and provides comfort in an Alpha City world.
